Isaiah 2:14-19

New International Version

¹⁴ for all the towering mountains
    and all the high hills,^(A)
15 for every lofty tower^(B)
    and every fortified wall,^(C)
16 for every trading ship^[a](D)
    and every stately vessel.
¹⁷ The arrogance of man will be brought low^(E)
    and human pride humbled;^(F)
the Lord alone will be exalted in that day,^(G)
18     and the idols^(H) will totally disappear.^(I)

¹⁹ People will flee to caves^(J) in the rocks
    and to holes in the ground^(K)
from the fearful presence^(L) of the Lord
    and the splendor of his majesty,^(M)
    when he rises to shake the earth.^(N)
